Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 June 2026

1. Who we are

Femt provides public and private wireless internet access (time-based passes).

2. Acceptance

By using Femt services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Services & pricing

We sell time-based passes (bundles) and private SSID packages (routers).

Prices, promotions, and available packages may change; current prices are shown at purchase

Payment is required before access is granted. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

4. Access & use rules

You must be at least 18 or have guardian consent.

Use only for lawful purposes. Prohibited activities include illegal downloads, hacking, spamming, distributing malware, and any activity that harms the network or other users.

Do not attempt to bypass limits or tamper with Femt equipments.

5. Network performance & availability

We aim to provide reliable, high-speed access but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific speeds, or coverage. Performance may vary by location, congestion, and device.

We may suspend or limit service for maintenance, emergencies, or to protect the network.

6. Liability & disclaimers

No warranty: Services are provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability: Femt and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 30 days before the claim.

7. Payments, refunds & cancellations

Payments are final for the purchased time period unless otherwise stated.

Refunds are issued only where required by law or at Femt's discretion (For example: clear service failure).

Private SSID (router) subscriptions may be canceled according to the plan terms; unused time is not automatically refundable.

8. Account security

You are responsible for keeping credentials secure. Notify Femt immediately of unauthorized use. We are not responsible for losses from compromised credentials.

9. Content & data

You are responsible for content you transmit. We may remove or block content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, non-payment, or to protect the network. Termination does not waive amounts owed.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Disputes will be handled in Tanzanian courts unless otherwise agreed.

Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Femt collects and uses limited personal and technical data to provide, secure, and improve our internet services. We respect user privacy and handle data in accordance with applicable Tanzanian law.

2. What we collect

Personal data: Names, email, gender and messages to our chatbot (Mark)

Account & payment data: phone number, mobile money transaction IDs, voucher codes.

Connection & device data: device MAC (hashed where possible), session start/end times, data usage, IP addresses, connection quality metrics.

Support logs: messages and call notes when you contact support.

3. How we use data

To authenticate and grant access to user dashboard and purchased passes.

To process payments and refunds.

To monitor and manage network performance, detect abuse, and troubleshoot.

To send service messages, receipts, and important notices.

To improve services and for internal analytics (aggregated and anonymized where possible).

4. Sharing & disclosure

Service providers: We share data with trusted vendors (payment processors, SMS/Mobile Money partners, hosting providers) who act on our behalf.

Legal requirements: We may disclose data to comply with law, court orders, or to protect rights and safety.

No sale of personal data: We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain connection logs and payment records for a period required by law or as needed for business purposes (typically up to 12-24 months for logs; payment records longer as required for accounting). Aggregated usage data may be kept indefinitely.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (encryption in transit, access controls). However, no system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights & choices

Access & correction: Contact us to access or correct your personal information.

Opt-out: You may opt out of marketing messages. Service-related messages (receipts, security notices) cannot be opted out of.

Account deletion: Request account deletion; we will remove personal data except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business needs.

8. Children

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy; material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
